NOW WALK IT AAOOUTAH.For starters, a lot has happened since June. In a nutshell, for the past month and a half or so I've had to juggle a new art project, my education and my personal life.
I was hired not too long ago to make around 7-10 illustrations for a booklet. It is going to start off with 500 copies within my province and if it goes well within Manitoba, it will be mass produced throughout the rest of Canada. Needless to say, I've been a bit busy.
BUT HOLY SMACK, I'M EXCITED AS HELL!! 8DDD
So far, from what I've seen of my completed pieces, it's some of the best works I've ever created and I can’t wait to put it up on DA and sturrffs so even more people can see. :3 I've been running on guts and determination and with any luck, all my energy has translated onto paper in a manner that conveys the emotions I wish to put behind the drawings. If there is a hope that I can inspire someone else or even make someone feel something when looking at my illustrations, then my goal has been completed.
Although, I’m not going to fancy the idea that I’m anywhere near that good quite yet, I’ve still got a long way to go and I have to keep building up my skills. I’m gonna get there dammit(!) and I see this project as not only an opportunity to get exposure but to learn how to hone my techniques.
Anywhosie, I've gotta go grab an energy drink and something to eat before I get back to work.
